Mark Fitzsimmons

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Fitzsimmons' eighteen years of management and IT experience working with Fortune 500 companies have given him the opportunity and insight to create software solutions that solve the complex IT problems that enterprise organizations face today. This experience is complemented by his participation in the founding and build out of three software companies (one of which was acquired by IBM). Mr. Fitzsimmons has extensive experience with enterprise systems design, EA development and deployment and has held a broad range of roles from system engineer to CIO. These rewarding experiences have inspired him to start a company with a focus on creating value through forward thinking products that provide fresh insight into complex environments.

Mr. Fitzsimmons is an active volunteer on the local fire department, township open spaces committee and watershed society.

Michael Bowers

Chief Information Officer

Mr. Bowers' fourteen years in IT include extensive experience in ASP and internet services start-ups, e-commerce development, and more recently in enterprise storage consulting for Fortune 100 companies, notably in the life sciences and financial sectors. Mr. Bowers was Director of Web Services for IBS Interactive, Inc., where he managed hardware, service, and customer migrations resulting from IBS' aggressive M&A strategy. Mr. Bowers played a lead role in building out new data centers, created and managed the 24/7 service department, and focused efforts to realize a successful IPO for IBS. As Senior Marketplace Developer at Lexis-Nexis, he led a team of developers in the creation of the Lexis-Nexis Online Marketplace, an extensive e-commerce application. Mr. Bowers is a certified Network Appliance enterprise storage engineer; as such he has played a lead role in several large-scale disaster recovery, migration, KVS/archiving, and storage utilization projects for such companies as Pfizer and Morgan Stanley.

He brings his experience in these disparate technologies to bear at Arxscan by providing strategic planning and direction in the development of our software products and in managing the technical aspects of Arxscan, Inc.'s professional services.

Mr. Bowers is a member of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) and the Usability Professionals Association (UPA).

John Hawkins

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Hawkins has had a successful career in the information technology and real estate fields. He brings a wealth of experience to the company in the areas of capital investment, business development and sales channel management and operations. Mr. Hawkins was Vice President of International Operations at The Matlen Silver Group, where he opened operations in India and Trinidad. In Trinidad, he won a complete package of incentives from the Prime Minister, including subsidized rent, telecomm and work permits. Mr. Hawkins was Director of Data Center Logistics at Exenet Technologies where he was responsible for the complete ownership of a $25 million multi-country data center build out. Mr. Hawkins helped sell and provision Telefonica's B2B exchange at Exenet Miami, directly leading to a $40 million VC commitment. Most Recently, Mr. Hawkins was Chief Operating Officer at Tag Master, LLC, where he acquired a set of patents from the inventors and sub-licensed them to Hitachi for a multi-million dollar gain.

Eric Fitzsimmons

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Fitzsimmons has over fifteen years of experience in accounting, finance / IT consulting and operations management for companies such as Aramark, Credit Suisse First Boston, Resources Global Solutions and RCN Telecommunications. Prior to joining Arxscan, Mr. Fitzsimmons was managing lead on a $100 million annual capital plan for RCN Corporation, responsible for the management and acquisition of over $38 million of materials and services directly. In past roles, he has brought great value to organizations by showing unique abilities in process management and design, financial planning, SOX compliance and remediation, public reporting, back office management and systems design and development, for both publicly and privately held companies.

Mr. Fitzsimmons now oversees all finance, accounting and human resource functions for Arxscan, Inc. and is currently a member of the North Jersey Chapter of the ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association).

Mr. Fitzsimmons currently resides in Northern New Jersey with his wife and two children and is an active volunteer in the local youth sports league.
